Featured Product: Equity Indexed Products
The ideal world for an investor is one of high returns with no
risk. Until recently, this was not a possibility. The idea that
there were products in the market that could perform significantly
with no chance of a potential loss was if at best, a fantasy. With
the introduction of Equity Indexed Products in 1995, this fiction has
become fact. The reality today is that there ARE alternatives that
fit in between fixed, low return and risky, stock market-linked
investments.
Equity Indexed Products are typically linked to the Standard & Poor’s
500® Composite Stock Price Index. Credited interest is linked to
increases in the S&P 500 Index without the downside risks
associated with investing directly in the stock market. The S&P
500 Composite Stock Price Index is often regarded as the standard
for broad stock market performance. It is used to measure the
average stock price changes of the 500 most widely held companies
representing over 100 specific industry groups. The S&P 500 Index
represents approximately 70% of the total domestic U.S. equity
market’s capitalization. Historically, the S&P 500 Index has
outperformed fixed interest products such as corporate and
government bonds and CDs.*
Equity Indexed Products credit interest earnings based on the upward
movement of an equity index, however, they are not securities.
Some of the features offered by many of these funds include:
• A guaranteed minimum interest rate
• Tax-deferred interest accumulation
• Access to cash through withdrawals and loan provisions
There are many crediting strategies offered by different
companies, some with the potential to earn up to 36% in one year.
The Financial Exchange is not confined to one provider or another.
We can offer all of the products available in the market today.
*CDs offered by banks are insured by a government agency and offer
a fixed rate of return. The principal and yield of corporate and
government bonds are not insured and will fluctuate with changes
of the market price and return of underlying securities.
